Description

This creamy, homemade cheesecake features a classic graham cracker crust and a velvety filling, providing the perfect canvas for an edible photo topper. It is a heartfelt dessert designed to turn cherished memories into a delicious centerpiece for any special occasion.

Ingredients

  • Crushed Graham Crackers
  • Melted Butter
  • Cream Cheese, room temperature
  • White Sugar
  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Sour Cream
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Edible photo topper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, blend melted butter with graham cracker crumbs and press firmly onto the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add milk and eggs, continuing to mix until uniform.
  4. Sift flour and sour cream together in a separate bowl before folding them into the main batter; pour the mixture over the prepared crust.
  5. Bake for 70 to 90 minutes, then turn off the heat and leave the cake inside the oven for 5 to 6 hours to cool slowly.
  6. Refrigerate the cake for one to two hours, then remove it from the pan and place the printed edible photo topper on top before serving.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, avoid over-beating the eggs into the batter, as this can incorporate too much air and cause the cake to rise and then fall. To ensure a clean release from the pan, you can lightly grease the sides of the springform pan before adding the filling.
