Ingredients
- 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1 Large Egg

- 1 tub White Buttercream Icing
- Blue Food Coloring
- Patriotic Sprinkles (red, white, and blue stars)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place paper liners into a cupcake tin.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, egg, oil, and water, stirring until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- Pour the batter into the prepared liners, filling each halfway, and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack before decorating.
- Divide the white icing into two bowls, tinting one with blue food coloring, then microwave each for 10 seconds to soften.
- Pipe a swirl of both blue and white frosting onto each cupcake and finish with a dusting of patriotic sprinkles.
